Well, I finally did it. I cast the die. I crossed the Rubicon. I uploaded my first Arbiter of Worlds instructional video to YouTube. And it’s amaz… well, incredi… remarka… uh, excel… good, I think.1 You can find it here:
Tragically, despite the thumbnail, I was not accompanied by a voluptuous sword-wielding brunette in black leather during the filming of this video. (She does exist but she was taking a nap.) Now, if you’ve read my book, Arbiter of Worlds, you won’t be surprised by too much I have to say in this video, but even then I hope you’ll subscribe to the channel, share it with your less-enlightened friends, and generally help me promote sandbox gamemastering and simulationism to the needy gaming masses.
If you haven’t done so already, I also hope you will take a look at my current crowdfunding campaign, Ascendant: Platinum Edition. Ascendant was designed to be a physics-based simulation of a superhero universe with 1990s Image Comics aesthetics. There’s a trailer about the product over at the Arbiter of Worlds YouTube channel, too:
If that sounds like the game for you, please check it out. And if superheroes just aren’t your genre of choice, don’t worry — I’ve got a fantasy game in the works, Adventurer Conqueror King System II, that will be the finest example of simulationist fantasy game design I can create.

If you got this joke you are at the right Substack.
The swords-mistress in leather totally exists, she just goes to another school, you wouldn't know her.
So I can't comment in youtube because I don't wish to create a channel, however thank you for doing this, I appreciate it, you are a good person, "..... But it is part of a good man to do great and noble deeds though he risks everything in doing them.” Plutarch
